The Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) program highlights professional requirements and attaches great importance to the combination of academic learning and occupational practice in terms of student recruitment, educational content, and quality standards.

(1) Instructor group guidance
A group of advisers, including a chief adviser and two assistant advisers, provides research guidance for the doctoral thesis.
(2) Multi-stage guidance
The doctoral thesis is completed through the six stages presentation and reviews: Research Plan Presentation, Survey Paper Presentation, Intermediate Thesis Presentation, Draft Thesis Presentation, Preliminary Review, and Final Dissertation Review. A Doctoral dissertation of final stage is requested to contain some thesis, at least one of which musut be published in a peer-reviewed academic journal.

[Term 1] Professional Development Workshops (R. Davies) (2008/Term 1&2 (Fall&Winter))
A number of Professional Development Workshops will be offered to students on a non-credit basis in Term 1. Some of the workshops are compulsory for everyone; others are required only for students making use of the Career Placement Office (these sessions are optional for others). All of the workshops in this course are designed to enable students to master skills that are important in their career and academic development at ICS.

Marketing Research
Informed decisions require the analysis of data regarding the environment and its interaction with company decisions. Marketing Research is designed to give students knowledge of the variety of research techniques available, along with their strengths, weaknesses and primary applications. Techniques include gathering secondary data, qualitative research techniques, sampling procedures, survey design, experimental design, basic descriptive statistics, regression, factor analysis, conjoint analysis and other advanced data analysis techniques. For many of these techniques, students gather and analyze data, thus moving beyond simple knowledge of marketing research to a true appreciation of its capabilities and limitations.
English is the single official medium of communication at IUJ. Thus, prior to their entrance to IUJ, all IUJ students are fluent enough in the English language in order to matriculate in graduate-level courses. However, the English Language Program offers first year courses to those students who need to develop their academic English skills when they join IUJ. In addition, second year optional courses are offered to students who wish to further develop their English language skills. The following types of English language classes are offered:
