Course Aims & Objectives:
The aims of this course are to develop students’ interest in social dance as a life-long pursuit, to enhance their social skill and to promote health and fitness through the activities. Upon completion of the course, students should be able to :
demonstrate good ballroom etiquette
demonstrate knowledge of the basic steps : some variations, styles of Waltz, Cha-cha-cha, Rumba, Twist and Rock’n Roll
develop sense of rhythm, body control, balance and an appreciation of development and form.

The aims of this course are to introduce students to the basic movement patterns and principles of the 24-Form Tai Chi Chuan that is simplified from the traditional Yang Style Tai Chi. Through the course, students will work on their fitness in terms of strength, flexibility and balance. Also, students will enhance their quality of life by daily practice of such a cardiovascular and tension-relived activity. Upon completion of the course, students should be able t

FB2800 Corporate Learning Consortium: Business Problem Solving
Course Aims & Objectives:
The Corporate Learning Consortium is a venue whereby business students meet with senior and middle managers of different fields and to learn from these experienced practitioners their ways of resolving problems. Different companies of different fields will have their own culture of problem solving and contingency measures to handle crises. All these are the precious skills students need to learn and accumulate in their work upon graduation. The Consortium will provide students with a peek of real life work experience and prepare them for their future challenges through attending seminars hosted by the company members. The idea of outreach education will definitely supplement classroom teaching and learning.
