We invite applications from October onwards for our annual intake which starts in the following August. The capacity for a typical Shenzhen part-time MBA intake is 60.
Making an Application
Application can be completed through our online application form. Simply register as a user and you could take as much time as you need to complete the application before the deadline.
Your application should include:1.
Completed online application form, including essay
2. Two reference forms or equivalent reference letters: one from your supervisor, the other from a professor of your UG university
3. Diploma Certificate
4. Degree Certificate
5. Academic transcripts
6. GMAT score report
7. TOEFL/IETLS score report (if applicable)
8. HK$500 application fee
We accept xerox or fax copies of (3) to (7) at the application stage.
Application Fee
The application fee is HK$500 (US$ 64) and can be paid by:1. Credit card as indicated on the online application form; or
2. Cash deposit to HKUST Hang Seng Bank account number 024 262 324999 014; or
3. Bank draft made payable to “The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology”
The original pay-in slip in (2) and bank draft in (3) should be couriered to the HKUST MBA Program Shenzhen Office. The fee is non-refundable. (Please visit the page “Contact us” for the mailing address of our Shenzhen Office)

Interview
We conduct personal interviews with short-listed applicants. Motivation, interpersonal and communication skills, career plans and maturity will be assessed during the interview.
Admissions Decision
Evaluation is based on the information provided in the application and interview performance. Admission decisions are not formula-driven but depend on an applicant’s overall profile. Successful applicants will receive an admissions offer within one month of the interview.
Accepting an Offer
Successful candidates are required to return a signed acceptance together with a non-refundable deposit of HKD 20,000 before the stated deadline.

Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST)
Application Requirements
Applicants for admission to the Executive MBA program must:a. Possess a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or an approved institution, or possess recognized professional qualifications equivalent to a degree;
b. Have at least 10 years of significant full-time work experience after obtaining their bachelor’s degree or professional qualifications; and
c. Have company sponsorship and support.
For applicants who were educated at institutions where the primary language of instruction was not English and whose native language is not English, a satisfactory score on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is required.
In addition to an academic background, the candidates should be able to demonstrate that:a. Their organization sponsor considers they are outstanding and have potential within the organization;
b. They are holding, or will soon hold, positions of executive responsibility that make the program of value in furthering their career; and
c. They have both the time and the motivation to make the commitment to attend classes and prepare assignments.
Each Executive MBA participant is required to have his or her own portable personal computer. Participants are encouraged to familiarize themselves with word processing, email and spreadsheet analysis on PCs prior to the beginning of coursework. They must also maintain personal email accounts to facilitate communication with the Executive MBA program office, the faculty and other Executive MBA participants.
The target size for each Executive MBA class is 50-60 students.

Admission Requirements Master of Public Administration (MPA)
In order to apply for admission to the Master of Public Administration (MPA) Program, applicants must forward the following materials to the Dean, Graduate School and Research:
Transcripts of all undergraduate work;
Two letters of recommendation; and
Official Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) OR Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores.
A prospective candidate for the MPA program may hold a bachelor’s degree in any field. It is not necessary that the bachelor’s degree be in public ../administration. To be admitted to the MPA program, a candidate must meet the following requirements:
Acceptance to the Graduate School;
A total combined GMAT/GRE score of at least 400/900; or
An overall grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 (on a 4-point scale) in the last two years (62 hrs.) of college work.

Professional MBA Program
Program Admission
The University of Guam Professional MBA is a competitive program that requires applicants have the following minimum qualifications to be eligible to apply to the program:
Minimum two years of full-time management work experience;
Earned baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university.
The Professional MBA Admissions Committee bases its decisions on the completed applications which include:
Written essay of a business program for case development
Work history and leadership potential
Letters of recommendation from two or more professional supervisors or associates
Results of the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT), a minimum score of 500 preferred
Minimum undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 for business major or overall cumulative
Official transcripts of all undergraduate work
Met Graduate Admissions Standards of this Bulletin, including passing the Graduate English Proficiency Examination (call the Office of Graduate Studies at (671) 735-2170 or 735-2173 for information on examination schedule and venue)
The Admissions Committee of at least three full-time graduate faculty will select the best-qualified candidates who demonstrate a strong intellectual capacity for business and maturity of management experience. The Admissions Committee gives significant attention to the length of time spent in a management role, progression in job responsibilities, and total work experience including the creation of new business ventures.

Admissions Requirements
All candidates are expected to meet the following requirements:
A bachelor’s degree or above
A full-time work experience of two years or longer
A GMAT score or CEIBS Admission Test score(GRE will be accepted as alternatives. Please contact MBA Admissions Office for more information)
Proficiency in English
Application
CEIBS only accepts the application form submitted online. An applicant should complete the application form and submit it to CEIBS via the Internet. The supporting documents, such as recommendation letters, photocopy of certificate(s), official university transcript(s), should be delivered by registered post or express mail to the MBA dmissions Office.
Selection Criteria
The Admissions Committee will take a holistic review of the applicant’s academic record; response to essay questions; work experience; recommendation letters; test scores (such as GMAT, GRE, CEIBS Admissions Test); and the interview performance in order to comprehensively assess each applicant’s overall suitability for the MBA study at CEIBS.

The Admission Decision will be released by the date specified in each round through both email and post. The decisions that are released are:

Deferral Policy
Applicants who have been offered a place in the CEIBS MBA Programme and who need to defer their study due to circumstances beyond their control may do so by submitting a written request to MBA Admissions Office. Your request will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee and the decision will be sent by email and followed by an official letter. You are required to pay appropriate deposit to secure your seat in the programme. Your seat will be re-offered during the admission cycle in the next academic year. The offer of scholarship will not be automatically granted for deferred applicants.
If you choose to withdraw after deferring, CEIBS reserves the right to retain your deposit.
Please note that the School policy is to grant no more than one deferral.
Re-application
If you have submitted an application to CEIBS and were not successful, we encourage you to reapply for the next academic year. Approximately 10 percent of CEIBS’ applicant pool is re-applicants in any given year.
