The Sunthorn-Araya Arunanonchai building is the home for CGSM. Its name is devoted to honor Mr. Sunthorn and Mrs. Araya Arunanonchai who donated more than 39 million Baht for the construction of such building which is well equipped with state - of - the art audiovisual equipment and facilities to ensure the high quality of teaching and learning environment. Moreover, CGSM library and computer center facilities will support the students to ensure their Internet access and self-learning opportunity.

Mobile Business Strategies
The Internet and the World Wide Web are changing rapidly in terms of intelligence, interactivity, and the mobility of the applications. Developments in the mobility dimension allow many users to connect to the internet through mobile phones, PDAs and other mobile devices. Starting from mobile commerce technologies, services and business models, the course moves into developing strategies for enterprise-wide businesses. It presents developments on the web in terms of mobility, covering topics such as mobile Internet technologies and businesses, m-business value chain and business models, privacy, security and mobile payment issues and how these can be used for mobile-Internet enabled businesses. At the end of this course, students will be equipped with knowledge of mobile internet technologies and how strategies can be developed for successful mobile businesses.

New Product Development
The ability to successfully develop and launch a new product into the market is one of the fundamental skills that today’s business executives must understand. This course examines the most successful strategies, processes and methods used to bring a product from idea generation to market launch. Students will examine the institutional implications of new product development, barriers to success, and effective methods to drive a new product concept through the entire development cycle. Emphasis will be placed on the ability of marketing managers to integrate R&D, consumer and corporate views while guiding a product along the development path. This course will look at a number of industries including high technology, Internet, financial services and manufacturing.

1. Recognised undergraduate degree
2. Satisfactory GMAT score
3. Minimum TOEFL 550 (paper based)/ 213 (computer based)/ 80 (Internet based) or IELTS band 6.0, with no subtest lower than 5.5
4. Around three years of full-time work experience (as at July 2009)

Part-time Programme:

1. Recognised undergraduate degree
2. Satisfactory GMAT score
3. Minimum TOEFL 550 (paper based)/ 213 (computer based)/ 80 (Internet based) or IELTS band 6.0, with no subtest lower than 5.5

Admissions Requirements

All candidates are expected to meet the following requirements:
A bachelor’s degree or above
A full-time work experience of two years or longer
A GMAT score or CEIBS Admission Test score(GRE will be accepted as alternatives. Please contact MBA Admissions Office for more information)
Proficiency in English

Application

CEIBS only accepts the application form submitted online. An applicant should complete the application form and submit it to CEIBS via the Internet. The supporting documents, such as recommendation letters, photocopy of certificate(s), official university transcript(s), should be delivered by registered post or express mail to the MBA dmissions Office.

Selection Criteria

The Admissions Committee will take a holistic review of the applicant’s academic record; response to essay questions; work experience; recommendation letters; test scores (such as GMAT, GRE, CEIBS Admissions Test); and the interview performance in order to comprehensively assess each applicant’s overall suitability for the MBA study at CEIBS.

The Admission Decision will be released by the date specified in each round through both email and post. The decisions that are released are:

Deferral Policy

Applicants who have been offered a place in the CEIBS MBA Programme and who need to defer their study due to circumstances beyond their control may do so by submitting a written request to MBA Admissions Office. Your request will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee and the decision will be sent by email and followed by an official letter. You are required to pay appropriate deposit to secure your seat in the programme. Your seat will be re-offered during the admission cycle in the next academic year. The offer of scholarship will not be automatically granted for deferred applicants.

If you choose to withdraw after deferring, CEIBS reserves the right to retain your deposit.

Please note that the School policy is to grant no more than one deferral.

Re-application

If you have submitted an application to CEIBS and were not successful, we encourage you to reapply for the next academic year. Approximately 10 percent of CEIBS’ applicant pool is re-applicants in any given year.
