Curriculum For Quantitative Methods for Investment Analysis at Antai College of Economics & Management
This course is to provide students majoring in economics, finance, marketing, accounting, management, and other fields of business administration with an introduction to statistics and probability as techniques for collecting, summarizing and interpreting data and coping with uncertainty in the management decision-making process. While focusing on business applications, the course has also attempted to use examples and problems that are student oriented and that do not require previous business courses.
This course is also designed to introduce management students — from a wide variety of backgrounds — to the fundamental techniques of using data and management science tools and models to think structurally about decision problems, make more informed management decisions, and ultimately enhance decision-making skills.
Specifically designed for CFA (the Chartered Financial Analyst) candidates, the course provides a blend of theory and practice to deliver the Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK) in the quantitative methods portion of the curriculum.
