This speciality is set up in the joint efforts of our institute and Douglas College with the purpose to nurture the specialized personnel of compound financial management competence for China’s or foreign multinationals, enterprise groups, accounting offices, state-owned assets management companies, financial organizations. Students of this program will have convincing proficiency in English application and solid basis of professional knowledge, with strong practicing ability in financial management.

Major courses include: courses from our side: Marketing, Assets Appraisal, Project Investment Analysis, International Trusting and Leasing, Annexation and Purchasing, Fund Management, Risk Investment, Investment Law; Introduced Courses from Canada: Microeconomics, International Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Financial Statements Analysis, Case Study in Financial Management, Money, Banking and Financial Market, Principles of Financial Accounting, Portfolio Analysis, Computerized Accounting.

Diploma: Students who finish the compulsory courses in the teaching plan and pass all the exams will be awarded the diploma of undergraduate and the degree of BA by our institute , and get the Diploma issued by Douglas college.

Curriculum For Financial engineering at Antai College of Economics & Management

This course mainly introduces: basic concept of finance and financial engineering; the latest progress of global financial market; principles of finance innovation, including design of financial product and case discussion; principle of no-arbitrage, case analysis and case discussion; case discussion and case analysis of risk management; forward interest rate, forward exchange rate and their pricing; stock index futures pricing; interest swap, currency swap and their pricing; arbitrage and hedge in commodity futures market ; option pricing model (binominal pricing and Black-Scholes pricing model); theorem of option parity; analysis of delta hedge and gamma hedge; analysis of parameters; interest rate caps, floors , collars ,and their pricing ; complex option pricing, etc; In addition, there will be lots of discussion of integrated case about risk management and financial product innovation. This course is comprehensive, attaches importance to theory study, case study as well as empirical study.
