Curriculum
Length of curriculum

The curriculum shall extend over not less than two academic years of part-time studies in Shanghai.
Completion of curriculum

To complete the curriculum candidates shall follow instructions on the prescribed syllabuses, attend the required seminars and tutorials, complete satisfactorily the prescribed written assignments, case workshops, class tests and projects, and such other practical exercises as may be prescribed, and satisfy the examiners in the prescribed examinations.

This program is intended to cultivate advanced specialized personnel for foreign economics and trade departments and enterprises, foreign-funded enterprises, multinationals and overseas enterprises. Students graduating from this program will be acquainted with the basic concepts and general practices of international trade and economics, while at the same time acquire solid basis of Japanese language and convincing abilities of listening , speaking, reading and writing, especially the ability to apply Japanese language to business field. Moreover, students will have deep understanding of Japanese society and culture and good mastery of English communication skills.

Major courses include: Comprehensive Japanese, Talking in Japanese, Listening, Audio-visual Japanese, Survey of Japan, Japanese Journal Reading, Foreign Economic and Trade Japanese (negotiation), Business Japanese, Finance Japanese, Japanese Writing, Japanese-Chinese Translation, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, International Trade Practices, International Finance, Business Law International, Marketing Rationales, Second Foreign Language.

Admissions

Enrollment for each program is limited to ensure an optimal faculty-to-participant ratio; registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications must be received 2 weeks prior to program commencement by fax, email, or mail. Once accepted, applications will be processed within one working day and each applicant will be notified by a letter of confirmation. Please address all applications and inquiries to our customer service team in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou respectively.

Payment Requirement and Cancellation Policies

Tuition fee covers program materials and services, stationery, translation and interpretation, tea breaks, lunches, and a welcome banquet. Tuition must be paid in full amount in US dollars or equivalent RMB as indicated 10 days prior to program commencement. In case of cancellation, applicants must notify us 10 days in advance in order to receive a full refund. Otherwise, refund percentage is listed below:
Cancellation 9 – 5 days prior to program commencement: 80% refund
Cancellation within 5 days prior to program commencement: 60% refund
Cancellation after program commencement: non-refundable

This program is open to domestic and international applicants. The students composed of domestic excellent applicants who has passed GRK(GUANLI LEI XUE SHENG RUXUE ZONGHE KAOSHI) and those from America, France, Germany, Hong Kong and Taiwan, and learn together in an international cultural atmosphere.

The students will receive the degree of Master in Business Administration upon completing the required courses and relevant certificates if attending overseas study

EMBA from China Europe International Business School

Curriculum Structure

The CEIBS EMBA programme is a two-year programme offered on a part-time basis. Students meet once a month, from Friday to the following Monday. The programme curriculum offers 15 compulsory courses, 4 elective courses to choose from a wide pool of over 20 courses in different areas, and one group project. Core courses are taken mostly in the first year, with the second year devoted mainly to advanced elective courses and group research project.

Programme Schedule

The two-year programme begins in late March of the entering year.
Students meet once a month, for four consecutive days from Friday morning to the following Monday afternoon.
A one-week overseas module is required in July of the entering year. Another one-week module abroad is optional.
Students graduate with their counterparts in the Chinese programme from Shanghai, Beijing and Shenzhen in September two years later.
